The spa was spotless, well maintained and stocked with refreshments. It had dry, wet and infrared saunas, hot and warm thermal pools, and a beautiful main pool with whirlpool and jacuzzi. After our treatments, we enjoyed tea and macaroons on the balcony, a lovely touch. The therapists were fantastic, professional, knowledgeable and attentive. My massage was relaxing and therapeutic, just what I wanted, and tailored perfectly. We arrived before check-in for our booked treatments, and the team were very accommodating. At reception, we got a complimentary room upgrade, and the receptionist was warm and professional. Our bags were brought up while we waited, making it all seamless. There was also complimentary cake and a birthday card in the room, which meant a lot. Every detail felt considered and luxurious without being too much. We had a wonderful experience at The Gainsborough Bath Spa, 10/10 from start to finish. We'll absolutely return 🤗😊

The spa was wonderful, the room beautiful, and the whole hotel immaculate. My sister and I enjoyed every moment of our stay. Stewart, our concierge, deserves a special mention for always being friendly, attentive and professional. The hotel is centrally located yet quietly luxurious. Thank you all for a very special trip to Bath.

The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, with a complimentary bottle of wine, tea, coffee pods, soft drinks and water. We had an issue with the heating that couldn't be fixed immediately, but staff quickly sorted it with a portable heater, which was perfectly adequate. They apologised for the problem. We enjoyed our overnight stay, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The spa was excellent and relaxing, with various pools and saunas, though the steam room was so hot it was hard to breathe. Treatments were quite pricey even with the discount, but we enjoyed them all the same. There was also a Christmas Carol service with mince pies and mulled wine, which was a really nice touch. I'd stay again as a treat.

The spa was lovely, the water was great, the couples massage incredible, and breakfast was great too. The team were attentive and friendly, and arranged champagne in the room and rose petals on the bed as surprises for my partner's birthday and my proposal. I'd highly recommend it. The rooms are stunning and full of thoughtful details. My only criticism is that the bed was harder than I'd like, though I slept well and the bedding was really comfy.

The staff at The Gainsborough Bath Spa were incredible and attentive throughout, from front desk to housekeeping and concierge. I felt incredibly welcome, and everyone went above and beyond to make me feel accommodated. My room was spacious, the whole hotel spotless, and everything had a high quality finish. There were lovely touches too, like oranges on the desk when I arrived and some 'goodies' in the room at turndown. I had an amazing facial treatment in the Spa Village. A fantastic one-night stay, and thanks to the team for all their efforts.
