The pool area was nice and breakfast was fine, but our Valentine’s Day visit felt fairly average. Around 2-3pm we asked for a light snack at the bar/restaurant and were told we had to order either the full Valentine’s three-course meal or room service. The bar/restaurant wasn’t busy, so it seemed like a simple snack could have been accommodated. I also noticed one bartender seemed to misprice the drinks each time he made them, which was concerning.

Ibraheem upgraded our room after a technical issue, and the service couldn’t have been better. I had the pleasure of staying with my fiance, and Ibraheem went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. His friendly manner was so good, I can definitely see him becoming a manger. He and the rest of the staff deserve recognition for their professionalism. I’d definitely recommend it.

After 21 nights here for work over 5 months, I feel I’ve got a good sense of the place. I’ve enjoyed the stays, and the hotel is refurbishing its rooms, so I’m focusing on the newer ones as they’re being rolled out. There are still some differences between rooms. The car park has plenty of spaces and is free for hotel guests. Inside, the lobby feels welcoming, with an infused water station. There’s also a gym, pool and spa for guests, all looking well equipped and maintained. The ultrasonic scent systems give the hotel a fresh feel. The refurbished rooms are sparkling, with modern, minimalist soft furnishings and great lighting. It can be warm and dim for reading or relaxing at night. Robes and slippers are provided too, which I appreciate, as plenty of upscale hotels don’t offer them. Housekeeping does a great job turning rooms around at check-in, though daily service can sometimes feel rushed. Mugs, glasses or bins have occasionally been missed, but the staff are friendly and clearly care about giving guests a pleasant stay. Breakfast has mostly been successful, with a comprehensive spread of morning goods. While the restaurant is being refurbished, they’re trialling cook-to-order when the hotel is quieter. It improves the food, but slows the service a bit, so allow a few extra minutes. The front desk and front of house staff are friendly. Rav brought water up to my room, and the FOH manager kindly upgraded my room while we were chatting at check-in. Thanks to the FOH team for several enjoyable stays, it feels like a home away from home.

The spa was the cherry on the cake during our relaxing Sunday night stay for my girlfriend’s birthday. The hotel was stylish and immaculately clean, and our big, comfy beds made it easy to unwind. Dinner and breakfast were great, with lots to choose from. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and took great care of us.
