The problems seemed to stem from storm damage after storm Barra, which had damaged and cut off the power. We didn't get everything working until the second day of our Holliday, but eventually things were back to normal. The manager offered to move us, though there were no other properties available, so we settled in once we had heating and power. We'd arrived at Beadnell bay on 22 12 21 and taken the dogs to the beach. It was cold, but not freezing. We got to the cottage by 4pm, as agreed with the owners, and everything seemed fine until we went inside. There was no heating, only some of the electrics worked, and there was no television or kettle for a cup of tea. We weren't happy and contacted the owners straight away. After maybe an hour, a plumber came and struggled to fix it. Then a manager arrived and arranged an electrician, who got the heating going but not the electrics. To be continued -

Dune was in a handy spot for the beach, coast, and restaurants. I enjoyed visiting Seahouses and would recommend it, and I'd come back.

A great place to use as a base.

The garden was a brilliant sun trap, with easy access to the beach. It was really quiet, and I enjoyed watching the rabbits. The welcome pack had no milk. We couldn't get the TV to work, and it isn't a smart TV. There were lots of profiles on the Fire Stick, mostly children's programmes.
