The owners made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and saw us off warmly too. We loved the garden, especially all the little birds visiting the cottage patio. I’m no gardener, so I couldn’t tell you what any of the plants were! The cottage felt cosy while still giving us plenty of room. We went to West Bay for ice cream and coastal walks, and the owners also had lots of suggestions for places to explore further afield. Such a lovely little place to stay, with nothing to fault.

I spent two weeks here for work. The cottage took a day or so to heat up, I guess it had been empty for a while, but the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The kitchen had everything I needed and then some. The local area is lovely, and West Bay is a good spot for a coastal walk. The garden looked lovely too, though the weather was too poor during my stay for me to use it.

My mother and I really enjoyed our time at A Cote Cottage. We spent plenty of time watching the wildlife in the magnificent garden, including squirrels and a pair of pheasants. The cottage is beautifully furnished and had everything we needed to be comfortable. It's also ideally placed for exploring the area. I'd highly recommend it.

Beaminster is a lovely, quiet town without much of a tourist feel, and the cottage made a perfect base for a weekend away. It was exceptionally clean and well presented, with a beautiful garden and terrace that was just right for sundowners. They'd thought of all the little things to make the stay comfortable, and it was great value. Thank you!

The hosts are lovely, and we'd definitely stay here again. The cottage was very clean and tidy, with a lot of care in the details, and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed a couple of beers in the garden in the cool spring sunshine. It's easy to get into town, where there's a great restaurant, The Ollerod.
