Tomich Holidays Courtyard Cottage

The remote location was lovely and quiet, and we enjoyed it. But expectations need to be made clearer. We were led to expect wi-fi in the write-up, but there wasn’t any. There was only one tea towel for four people for five nights, and the toilet paper didn’t last the stay, even though we were out all day every day. We also thought the woodland cottages had washers and dryers, but there was only a washer.

This place needs investment. It’s okay as somewhere to sleep if you’re out doing things all the time, but I wouldn’t want to spend the whole day here. The games room was cold and smelled damp. Our accommodation also had a lingering kitchen smell, which we thought could be from a cooker hood filter that needed cleaning or replacing.

The cottages were clean and comfortable, with everything you’d expect for a home away from home. The people running them provided lots of useful information. The setting is beautiful and handy for the national park, Loch Ness and other attractions. There’s also a lovely local cafe and pub for snacks and meals out. Highly recommended.

The self-catering homes are beautiful and really comfortable. It’s a brilliant holiday spot for a young couple or a family with kids, with loads to do and explore. The swimming pool is amazing, and there’s a backyard farm, horse riding, bike hire and nearby hiking, plus plenty more activities. You’ll fall in love with the place if you visit 😍🥰
