The Bold Arms Hotel

We dropped in for lunch with our dogs after seeing the sign saying dogs were welcome. They even have their own Doggy Bar with free fresh water and treats. The food is simple, with lots to choose from, and the quality was excellent for very good value, with many mains under a tenner. We'd highly recommend stopping in if you're visiting town.

Our first visit to The Bold Arms in Beaumaris won't be our last. We found a little gem, and it's dog friendly too. Hanna, the manager, gives the place a personal feel and makes guests feel like family. Her energy and eye for detail help make a visit about more than food or a drink. You can tell she cares about people enjoying their time there. The whole team is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, and Hanna's influence comes through in how they treat guests. The pub itself is cosy and inviting, with traditional charm alongside modern comforts. The atmosphere feels quintessentially Beaumaris. The food, drinks and service were all brilliant. We came away thinking we'd found a new favourite spot, and the hospitality is a big part of that. Gwen, Dean and of course Brin.

The room had everything we needed, and the bar food downstairs was fantastic. They're super dog friendly, too. Hannah went above and beyond to make sure our stay was just right, and the whole family running the hotel deserves a lot of credit. We'll definitely stay here again when we're back in Beaumaris.

We didn't stay overnight, just came for an evening meal during half term after seeing the good reviews. It seems to be one of the few Beaumaris pubs with decent food that's still dog friendly. We had a hot dog, gyros, pizza and a kids' meal, all delicious, with huge portions, lots of choice and great value. Service was friendly and quick, and the family enjoyed the pool tables and free darts. Ask whether there are food deals on. Pizzas were buy one get one free while we were there, but I only overheard it and didn't see it advertised. Thanks, we were very happy!
