We stayed for one night during our road trip in Wales and loved it. The staff, from reception to the restaurant and bar, were friendly throughout. The hotel has classy, cosy interiors furnished with old furniture, and the peacock bar was a highlight. Our room was comfortable, clean and great. The food was a real highlight too. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant for its tasty, high-quality dishes and lovely presentation. The restaurant also had an amazing view of the sea and mountains. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices and options. We'll definitely be back.

The food was a real highlight, with loads to choose from and everything tasting excellent. Our room was lovely too, comfortable and nicely presented. The staff were warm and attentive the whole time, and the dining team’s professionalism made the meal even better. We had a wonderful stay at the Bulkeley Hotel and would happily come back soon.

That coast and mountain view from our big, comfortable room was stunning. We came for three nights at the end of September this year, just as we did last year, and still love the grand old hotel’s Victorian character. Breakfast had a huge choice and came out quickly. Everyone was friendly and attentive, especially Julia, Danielle and Paul at reception, and Holly and Linda in the restaurant. They were so helpful and kind, nothing felt like too much trouble. We can’t wait to return.

The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, and there was plenty to choose from. We also loved the delicious food and the sea view. The hotel is beautiful, full of history and little curiosities, and all the staff were lovely and friendly.

Our basic inland room suited us well, with plenty of storage and a large bathroom. We spent a lovely, relaxing long weekend at the Bulkeley Hotel, and found every member of staff friendly and helpful. It’s full of charm and character, and has to be one of the best dog friendly hotels we’ve stayed in. The food was lovely too. We’ll definitely be back!
