The burger was great, flame grilled, and the service and food were fantastic. Not sure the music suited the country pub decor, Michael Jackson and Backstreet Boys were playing, and something more chilled might have helped the atmosphere. Still, don’t let that put you off, it’s a nice place to stop after a walk around Beaumaris. It is a bit pricey: the gammon and chips was £21.99, though the portion was humongous, so I can’t complain too much.

We had a few pints, then overindulged in the home cooked food. The mixed grill was ridiculously good. My partner and I had a terrific time, with delicious food and such friendly, welcoming staff. Give it a try if you’re visiting Beaumaris 😊

We went for a friend’s birthday Sunday roast, and everyone was pleased with their meal. The food was really good, and the portions and quality made it such good value. Even with a big table, everything arrived efficiently. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. I highly recommend the place and will definitely be back. Thank you very much.

Room 7 was spacious and spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The only issue was the cold overnight temperature, which meant we didn’t sleep well. The quilt wasn’t very thick, and I’d have liked the heating left on low to take the chill off. Dinner had a great menu selection and was delicious, while breakfast was freshly cooked with fab poached eggs and locally sourced food. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying and look forward to coming again.

The service wasn’t great. My food wasn’t hot, so I sent it back, but it came back only warm. If a dish isn’t right the first time, a restaurant should fix it properly instead of sending it back out like this. I wouldn’t recommend eating here in Beumaris.
