Ray and Anne made us feel so welcome, thank you both. Ray showed us around the two-acre grounds, with swings, an adult see-saw and a garden room he's building. Our large en-suite room was spotless, in a wonderful house tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast was huge and tasty, with local sausages and bacon, I think, as well as cereal, toast, croissants, yoghurt and a full cooked option. We were brought here for my birthday weekend, and we'll definitely come back. Charlotte and Chris

The grounds are lovely and peaceful, with plenty of wildlife. We watched birds feeding right outside the window in the morning. After cycling all day in heavy rain, Ray went out of his way to help us reach Kingsley cottage. He also helped dry our clothes and pointed us to a great local pub for food, which lived up to the recommendation. The rooms were beautifully decorated, fresh flowers in a vase were a lovely touch, and everything was immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We had fun trying the new zip line and river swing that morning, though it was hard to leave. A lovely B&B for quiet and beautiful surroundings.

Ray was a very pleasant and helpful host, and we'd happily come back. We stayed one night while visiting friends. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and filling, and there's parking right outside. It's a calm, peaceful spot with a little river running alongside. Thanks, Ray.

We were able to explore Dartmoor and the lovely north coast of Devon and Cornwall from this great location. The cottage is beautifully quiet, and our room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Ray really spoiled us, bringing coffee and toast outside before breakfast and then making a lovely full English, though eggs on toast were an option too. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and he was a lovely host. We had our 'honeymoon' here just after getting married, and will definitely book again. Thanks, Ray.

Fish in the River Torridge and birds coming to feed on our balcony made our stay special. Ray and Anne had thought of every detail to help us feel comfortable and relaxed. We spent three wonderful days here in August 2020, have already booked for next year, and would thoroughly recommend Kingsley Cottage.
