Getting to the city centre takes about a 40-minute walk, so expect plenty of steps if you’d rather not pay for the bus. The room was clean and really nice, with the amenities we needed: shampoo, a hair dryer, shower gel, a mini fridge and a water cooker. Staff made the beds daily, took out the rubbish and left fresh towels. The bed was comfortable, though a little small for my boyfriend, who is 1.86m tall, and the shower had warm water. We stayed three nights. On our last night, the people upstairs were loud until midnight and then again early in the morning. Every footstep and even some quiet talking carried through, so it was hard to sleep. Apart from that, we had a really nice stay.

The location made it easy to walk or catch a bus to wherever we wanted to go, and I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Belfast. The room was just the right size, clean and had everything we needed. They cleaned and restocked it every day, and the staff I met were cheerful and kind. The walls are thin, so light sleepers might want earplugs. It’s just how things can be sometimes, and wasn’t the place’s fault. I enjoyed my stay.

The room was neat, but the lack of air was uncomfortable. It was very small, with a tiny bathroom and little ventilation, and there was no fan. The windows were positioned in a way that didn’t help. I ended up with heat rashes. I’d also have liked smart TVs for Netflix or YouTube. Carrying my heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs to reach the room was exhausting, even though I know that may be beyond the property’s control.

The top room was cramped, and the mattress wasn’t comfortable.
