Cordia Serviced Apartments

Cordia serviced apartments are ideal for our needs, and we’ve now stayed twice. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Belfast City Hospital is very close and easy to reach, there’s a Tesco next door, and the secure entrance gives access to excellent parking. The kitchen, bathroom and TV are all top notch, with plenty of crockery and utensils, plus a dishwasher and washing machine/dryer, all laid out well. Varnika is friendly and helpful. When there was an airlock in the hot water/heating, she dealt with it quickly and efficiently, without complaint, which was reassuring. The furnishings are spotless and clearly made for frequent rental use. For older visitors with some arthritis, though, the sofas can feel slippery and don’t give much back support, and the mattresses are very hard. We’ll bring cushions next time, and we manage the beds by sleeping on the duvet and bringing the spare bedroom duvet in. Those are just practical notes for older guests, not a criticism. There’s plenty of room for a longer stay for up to two couples or family members.

The apartment had a lovely living space and a full kitchen, and it’s a proper two-bedroom place that tourists can rent. We appreciated the garage parking and the elevator up to the apartment, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It got a little hot without air conditioning, so we had to open the windows.

Varnika was very helpful whenever we needed advice. We had a great stay in the apartments, with plenty of room for our family of four and a fantastic view over Windsor Park and the mountains. It’s also a great location for visiting Belfast.

Reception was polite and very helpful, and the apartment had everything we needed to self-cater. The secure off-street parking was good, and the location was perfect: about a 10-minute bus ride into the city centre, or a 20-minute walk to Ulster museum, with the botanical gardens another five minutes away. The mad hatter cafe is a short walk away too, and the food there was terrific and reasonably priced. There was very little room in the bath to shower, although the shower itself was perfect. The bed was very firm, which suited me but won’t suit everyone.
