We really felt looked after at The Harrison, just as Christine promised when she welcomed us. My family had booked us a five-day break, and from arrival she made sure we were spoiled. The room was lovely, breakfast was delicious, and the hotel has quirky decor. We enjoyed the live music in the evening too. We can't praise the hotel and staff enough, and hope to see you soon. Breakfast was fantastic, with orange juice in a wine glass, elegant vintage coffee cups, pain au chocolat, cheeses, porridge and yogurts. The man from Ireland at the bar yesterday was kind too, and chatted with us about his cocktail work. The whole vibe felt really cute. Our room had a lovely view over an autumn street covered in yellow and orange leaves. I loved its dreamy, eclectic wallpaper, all the mirrors and the vintage wardrobe where I could sit to do my makeup. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and very clean. We also had a relaxing bath, and the provided products smelled amazing. The staff greeted us with big smiles and were so caring. We were very happy to get a room upgrade. Such a beautiful hotel. We'll come back for a longer stay next time we're in Belfast. Thank you!

The Harrison has a lot of character, and its eclectic decor suited me. If you want somewhere predictable and corporate, this probably isn't the place. The staff are what really made my one-night stay, though. I felt very ill and had to stay in my room, but they brought me an extra blanket and offered to turn up the heat without any fuss. The next morning I still couldn't face breakfast, so they kindly offered to pack me a doggy bag. That kind of personal care is something you don't get from big hotels. My only small gripe was that our room had no TV, which seemed strange and like an easy thing to fix, but it didn't spoil the stay. Great location, and I'd happily stay again.

We usually come to Belfast at Christmas for shopping, food and music, so I'm glad Booking.com turned up this funky place on Malone Road. My wife and I were really pleased we stayed. The bar was excellent and the staff lovely. We had the Alice room, which was small but very warm and comfortable, with everything we needed, a good night's sleep and a nice shower in the morning. We’ll definitely be back. Reasonable price and a first-class atmosphere.

The rooms are decorated so adorably, and just walking through the hotel was fun. Everything was clean, with tea, coffee, milk, water and a treat provided, plus a coffee maker. Our room did run a little hot. There was no small fridge or TV, but you should be out enjoying Belfast anyway. There are at least two bars or pubs and a few fast-food places nearby, yet the area is quiet and felt safe. Queen's college is only a block away and worth seeing, especially lit up at night.
