Titanic Guest

Check-out at 10am felt early compared with other hotels, though it wouldn't put me off returning. The room was very clean, reasonably priced and had everything we needed. Check-in was easy and contactless. We didn't use the shared kitchen or patio during our one-night stay, but would have if we'd stayed longer.

We had the whole property to ourselves in 147, and it was clean, spacious and good value, with nice bathrooms and a good kitchen. Town was about a 30-minute walk, or you can get the glider bus at the end of the road. A taxi from the train or bus station cost about £12, and George Best city airport is nearby.

It was much too warm in the room, even with the radiator off and the windows open. Worse, my side of the bed was broken and left my back messed up for the rest of the week. Booking and getting in were easy, and the location was great.

We paid 140 euros a night for a room with no breakfast, which felt far too expensive. Although Booking.com listed it as a hotel, it's actually an Airbnb, just one room in a house with a small corridor for shared space. Our ground-floor room faced the street, so we heard cars all night, and light came through the large windows even with the curtains closed. The residential area felt unsafe and was deserted even at 8 PM. The bathroom smelled bad too. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
