Green Grove Country House

The walk-in shower was so good my wife wants one at home, and Keith takes pride in cooking breakfast just the way you like it. We had a quiet countryside break, welcomed warmly by Keith and Zoe, who have put a lot of time and money into bringing the guest house up to a high standard. Everything was very clean. From our room we looked over lovely fields and spotted a deer, woodpecker, frog and squirrel. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby, and we had a choice of teas and coffees in the room. We'd recommend this country house and hope to return someday. X

The location suited us perfectly, and our spacious room had a lovely view, a separate lounge area and was very comfortable. The hosts were wonderful and went above and beyond. Loved staying here, and we'll definitely come back.

That local black pudding was fantastic, easily the best I've had. We had a lovely stay at this charming B&B, with comfortable rooms and a perfect location. Zoe was such a warm, welcoming host.

We stayed in the Littondale room and really didn't want to leave. The decor was lovely, with a four-poster bed, blackout curtains and even a torch provided. Our welcome tray was thoughtful: because of our dietary needs there was a selection of fruit, and the mini fridge had a pint of milk plus a litre of soya milk for one of us. Dairy-free cream cakes are usually left in the room too. Breakfasts were brilliant, and they took great care with both the food and presentation for the person with a very restricted diet. Anyone with a severe food allergy can feel reassured by their excellent understanding of my needs. Keith and Zoe were a lovely couple and perfect hosts. This is the best B&B we've ever stayed in, and we've already recommended it to everyone we know. We'll definitely visit again.
