The Lodge at Wildersley Farm

The access track is worth knowing about before you book. It’s a long, narrow single-track stretch of dirt and grass, with deep potholes and uneven ground, very few places to pass, and farm vehicles using it. I drive a small SUV, but I wasn’t comfortable going further because of the risk of damaging my car and concerns about its ground clearance. Drivers with a higher-clearance vehicle may be fine with it, but it’s something to consider when deciding whether to book.
