Everything was spotless in my single room with a shared bathroom. It was warm and comfortable, and after a long walk the lovely hot shower was just right. The kitchen was well equipped, and the lounge felt warm and welcoming. The hostel is in a quiet spot, only a short walk from everything Betws y Coed has to offer. Michelle and Helen gave me a warm welcome and shared useful local knowledge. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Thanks for a great visit, I’ll be back.

Twelve of us spent the weekend here and had a very pleasant stay. The hostel was comfortable throughout, and the kitchen was clean, tidy, and well equipped. It’s in a quiet spot off the main road, with good walks nearby. The local pubs are good for food, and there’s a good food store close by. Excellent.

After biking in the hills, I stopped here for the night and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Michelle, the warden, welcomed me warmly, upgraded my room, and made sure I was settled. She also gave me great suggestions for food. I slept peacefully and got back on my bike the next morning. A great experience, and I’d strongly recommend the Woodlands Centre to groups and solo travellers like me. Looking forward to coming back.

We turned up late, soaked, and without a booking. The Woodlands Centre was incredibly hospitable. Michelle put us up straight away and had our kit drying before we’d even paid for the room. The people are friendly and there are all the facilities you might need. If you need a straightforward place to recover after a long day out in the elements, I can’t recommend it enough.

We stayed for two nights, and Michelle was such a friendly, lovely person. They really looked after us. Thanks for the hospitality. Great value for money.
