Two nights at Stillwater Cottage left us wishing we'd booked longer. It's immaculate and really spacious, with a super-comfortable bed and a kitchen stocked with everything you'd need. We've stayed in lots of cottages, but this was the first with an air fryer. There are leaflets about local attractions, and Beverley is close by. Its Saturday market is worth a visit, while Hull, the UK City of Culture 2017, isn't far either. The East coast is just minutes away, with Hornsea, Withernsea and Spurn Point to the east and south, and Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough and Whitby to the north. The Yorkshire Wolds are nearby for walks and cycling. Depending which way you come, you might pass through Walkington or Bishop Burton. Their meres and ponds are a nice place to stop, feed the waterfowl and see the quaint cottages.

We only got two nights at Stillwater Cottage and I wish we'd stayed longer. It's a beautiful place with everything you need, and the hosts were very responsive. They've thought of absolutely everything. Thanks for a great stay, we'll be back very soon!

We'd rent this place again. It's one of the best places we've stayed in years, with such good attention to detail that it's nicer than many people's homes. In a more upscale market, I could see it charging twice the rate.

The owner has thought of everything to make a stay comfortable. It's a stunning property in an ideal location, and we had a really great time at the cottage. I'd definitely recommend it.

Stillwater Cottage felt like a home away from home. Beautifully decorated and designed, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The attention to detail was meticulous. We had a wonderful stay, thank you. Highly recommend!
