The food arrived quickly and tasted good, and there’s public parking behind the place. Inside, everything was very clean and nicely decorated, with plenty of seating both indoors and outside. The rooms are lovely, too, and the bar area is spacious. The ladies’ toilets were something else, with a sofa, comfy chairs, big mirrors, a fireplace and chandeliers. I’ll definitely come back when I’m nearby. Highly recommend a visit.

The breakfast is worth trying, and plenty of other people seem to enjoy it too. Staff were more energetic than I’d expect at a typical 'spoons pub. The rooms have modern facilities, though the building is ancient, so floors can slope and headroom changes from place to place. There’s a maze of corridors, but the signs are good. Pay attention to the room directions!

The room was clean and comfortable, and guests can park for free behind the hotel. It’s in a great spot. I only had breakfast there, not an evening meal, and Wetherspoons was as consistent as ever. I’d happily recommend the hotel.

The light bite menu was good value: scampi, chips and mushy peas, plus a free ginger beer. I like the conservatory best, since the back of the main room can feel a bit gloomy and stuffy. Cheap and cheerful.

I’m a regular for breakfast at the George Hotel in Bewdley and think it offers some of the best value in the whole county. The dining areas are always spotless, and the staff and customer service are first class. I wouldn’t choose anywhere else for meals. I’ve also heard the rooms are very well looked after.
