We had a lovely welcome and settled by the fire in a cosy spot. They’d even put out a dog bed, which our dog was very happy with. The food was delicious, there was plenty of choice for a gluten-free diner, and the chips were especially yummy. Great service, and I’d highly recommend it.

The bedrooms were nice and we enjoyed our stay. This old village pub has loads of character, with big oak beams and a great fireplace. RAF Croughton isn’t too far away.

Low ceilings, open fires, a tempting menu and great staff made our weekend unforgettable. This is a wonderful, very cosy and authentic inn on the edge of the Cotswolds, ideal for a meal or an overnight stay with your dog. We’ll definitely be back!

We’ve just had a lovely two-night stay in this charming place, full of character. The food is to a very high standard and the staff are so friendly. I’d definitely recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
