Yurtcamp Devon

We’re still talking about that weekend seven and a half years later, and only just remembered we meant to leave a review. Better late than never! For my 21st birthday, my partner took me to a secluded woodland yurt, and it was such a relaxing break. The private outdoor space was lovely, and it came in handy when I couldn’t get the Prosecco open that day. We felt close to nature, had plenty of wood for the log burners, and the kitchens were well equipped. There was also a nice pub within walking distance. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it.

The Woodland Cafe has a choice of food and drinks for when you don’t feel like cooking. We spent two nights at yurtcamp and had a wonderful time. Our yurt was lovely, with a log burner and basic cooking equipment if you want to make something yourself. The site’s facilities are modern and clean, and the toilets and showers were perfectly serviceable.

The Sunshine smile cocktail was lovely, and it was great to have the choice of bringing our own drinks or buying them at the bar. We were there for a friend’s wedding, and the staff did a brilliant job decorating the place. The bar and breakfast staff were lovely and friendly. A little kindness, patience and respect goes a long way in hospitality. We had a full English both mornings, with tea, coffee and toast. The woodland setting made it a lovely place to celebrate, and there was plenty of room. The yurts were well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the pillows, blankets and thick duvet were good. The showers were hot, and both they and the toilets were clean. I’d happily recommend it to family and friends and would visit again. Hopefully we’ll be back soon.

The children had a brilliant time exploring the site and woodland. We’ve just come back from a seven-night stay and had an amazing time. The yurts were lovely, clean and ready for us, and the toilets and showers were very clean too. Woodland cafe was a lovely spot, with friendly service.
