We hired all three properties for a family wedding, and it worked out perfectly. The apartments were spotlessly clean and had everything thought of. We enjoyed moving between them and chatting in the little courtyard. The hot tub was a lovely bonus, as was the large games room and seating area. The hosts were among the friendliest and most helpful we’ve met. We all loved petting the donkeys and feeding them carrots, as well as spending time with the alpacas. It was just a perfect stay, with a lovely little village a short walk away. We’ll definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay in the apartments. Everything was clean and tidy, and the hosts were very friendly. There was one minor issue, but it was sorted straight away and didn’t affect our stay. The hot tub was very clean and easy to access. We’ll definitely stay again, thank you very much.

I’m already hoping I can come back. We spent a week in Joseph, the single-decker coach, and leaving was genuinely hard. The village is nearby, with three food-serving pubs, a friendly fish and chip shop that caters for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free diets, a store, post office and a pottery. The Hart pub made us feel like locals, and the people at the shop and post office were lovely too. Hartland Quay and Hartland Point are close by, with Bideford, Bude, Barnstaple and Clovelly a little farther away. Dogs who love sand can enjoy Instow or Summerleaze beach, and we found 4 paws paddock, four minutes from Fosfelle, the best of the two secure dog fields we tried. The hosts really went out of their way. It was my birthday, and the coach had birthday banners inside and prosecco in the fridge when we arrived. One evening the owner even gave us a lift to my birthday meal. Our two dogs were thoroughly spoiled as well, with beds and bowls provided, and plenty of space to run and play. There’s also a large pond for fishing. Joseph is compact, but that worked well for me. I’m disabled and usually walk with crutches, yet I could get around inside without them by using the thoughtfully arranged furniture for support. The bed and sofa were comfortable, the bedding cosy, and the log burner kept everything warm. Logs and firelighters were supplied. The kitchen had an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with a small freezer compartment, toaster and kettle. Wi-Fi was very good for the location, and the smart TV handled our Fire Stick perfectly. Even through the rain and wind of Storm Amy during our last two days, the coach stayed cosy. Waking up to the donkeys, alpacas and pony, and watching their daily antics, was wonderful and therapeutic in its own way. At night, the stars were beautiful with so little light pollution. This was the best holiday I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to return.

The pitches are nicely spaced, each with its own bench table, and there’s drinking water available. We also appreciated the two dog runs on site. The toilets and shower were clean, and the campsite itself is lovely. We brought our own motorhome, but had a look around Joseph, Bertram the double-decker bus and the cottages. They all looked clean, fun and equipped with what you’d need. The friendly hosts were generous with local tips and advice. It’s a great base for the beaches and countryside nearby, with plenty of good walks in the area. We had another amazing few days at beautiful Fosfelle Country House campsite in Hartland, and would highly recommend it.

We spent two days here in our motorhome and were glad to find somewhere so quiet and relaxing. The owner was helpful, then left us to enjoy the place. The shower and toilet were good and very close to the RV. I'll definitely be back, thank you.
