The beds were so comfortable, and I had the best night's sleep in a long while. At breakfast we spotted wild rabbits, pheasants and roe deer just metres away on the green in front of the house, with an incredible view over the river. The home-baked cream tea was a particular favourite, and there were lots of lovely touches around the house, including fresh lilies in the breakfast room. It really felt like a home from home. Thank you for having us, we'll be back very soon. We spent a perfect weekend at Old Keepers with friends. The cottage was beautiful and homely, with a log fire that made the evenings extra cosy. It's tucked away in the countryside, just far enough outside town to hear only the birds. Lucy was a fantastic host, always happy to help.

A wonderful host, comfortable rooms and stunning views over the Torridge Estuary. This lovely B and B is peaceful, but still only a short drive from Bideford, Instow, Westward Ho and Appledore. The fantastic breakfast and its view alone make it worth a stay.

We spent the weekend in our room and had a lovely, relaxing, romantic time. It's a beautiful place, worthy of a honeymoon. We were left to ourselves, which suited us, while knowing the staff were there if we needed anything. I was so impressed with everything and can well recommend it.

Birds and green views all around, and it's so quiet since the B&B is away from the main traffic. The place is spacious, comfortable and nicely equipped, and Lucy is a lovely host.

The rooms felt really comfortable and the whole place had a homely feel. We also enjoyed the lovely views over cream tea, and breakfast was excellent. Thanks, Lucy, for a wonderful stay at Old Keepers Cottage!
