Lovely setting and great accommodation, with room styles ranging from cosy country to modern. Definitely worth a visit if you're staying in the area.

We booked this as a B&B, but there was NO food. The location is stunning and the room was adequate, though the shower was small. We couldn't make a hot drink because the kettle filter was dirty and the coffee machine was grubby. The TV remote was dirty too. I didn't think it was good value. £60 for room only is fair, but this isn't luxury.

So quiet and restful, with a lovely bed. There’s no breakfast now, sadly, but the in-room tea and coffee are good. Pick up croissants at the local Lidl and you’re sorted for the morning.
