The breakfast basket was a highlight, and the room was immaculate, with thoughtful details that made it comfortable. It was a peaceful place to stay and we slept wonderfully. Scenic walking routes were right there, with local towns and pubs for dinner just a short drive away. We'd definitely book again if we return to explore more of Devon.

We appreciated the hosts' helpful, informative approach and the balance they struck between being friendly and letting us do our own thing. Parking was easy. The rooms were nicely furnished and decorated, and though ours was one of the smaller ones, it was quite big enough. Breakfast was continental, with good quality food, which suited us. The setting is peaceful and remote but still accessible, with countryside views all around and an easy 10-minute drive into central Bideford.

Breakfast was excellent, varied each day and brought to the room in a cool bag. The setting was really quiet, and the room had everything well arranged, including a fridge as well as the usual TV and tea and coffee facilities. A lovely, relaxing stay. We'd definitely recommend it.

We had a really lovely stay. The hosts were friendly, the rooms beautifully decorated, and the location very peaceful. The private rooms have their own separate entrance. I'd highly recommend staying here.
