The sound of the fast stream behind Ivel Mill made the peaceful setting feel even better, well away from the town centre. Inside, it was clean and cosy, with fresh linen and towels, hot water, marble floors, a dining table, sofa, Wi-Fi and flatscreen TV. The kitchen was spacious and had a breakfast bar, and there was a large bath for two as well as a shower. Bring cooking oil and milk, or pick them up at the local shop less than half a mile away. It’s a lovely self-contained place with what you need for a break. Google asked me to leave a review and gives it five stars, but I’d give it seven.

The staff were so kind and helped with any questions or concerns. It was a really inviting, enjoyable place to stay, and the location made it easy to get to local shops and other things nearby. Just a lovely experience.

Views over the fields and river, with shops close by. Nicest place I’ve ever rented.

Just to clarify, the place is Ivel Mill, not Iver Mill. I was there to visit another resident at the Mill, not to stay at the B&B.
