The terrace is lovely, though it got a bit too hot this weekend. We were more comfortable inside, and the staff were really friendly. The roast was excellent, and the lobster and prawn risotto was beautiful. Good range of drinks too, and it's dog friendly. One old guy complained about our dog even though his own was making a fuss, which was a shame, but that wasn't the pub's fault. Definitely recommend it.

Had a lovely weekend night away with friends. The room was excellent, and the food was just as good, really delicious. Nothing to complain about. Great place, thoroughly recommend a visit!

The food was the best we've had eating out, and both dinner and breakfast were a 10/10. We also had excellent accommodation, and the staff were so friendly. Can't believe we hadn't found this pub sooner. It's in a perfect location, and we'll definitely visit again.

The cauliflower cheese was the best part of a really delicious Sunday roast. I had the nut roast and my friend chose chicken. It was a little pricey, but neither of us had any complaints. I appreciated the many non-alcoholic beer options too. One of the best roast dinners I've had.

The food had great flavour and was excellent. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It's in the beautiful South Downs National Park.
