We chose this hotel for our first visit to Birmingham, and it made the occasion feel special. Spring had just begun, with golden light coming in when we arrived. The team gave us a lovely welcome and offered us a fantastic upgrade for our special occasion. In the industrial-style building next door, the hotel is connected to The Button Factory, a vibey place to have a sundowner before going out to explore the city. The Jewellery Quarter location also makes a great base for seeing Birmingham.

We slept well, thanks to the spacious room and comfortable bed, and check-in was easy. The staff seemed helpful at first, but the service slipped after that. We asked twice for extra milk after being told some would be put in the fridge, and none ever appeared. Breakfast was a letdown too. We came down just after 9am and there was hardly anything left. We’ve had better choices at The Premier Inn!!!

For a quick stay in Birmingham, this was decent value. The townhouse had nicely made furnishings and good amenities in the room. There are quite a few car parks nearby, and the location worked well.

The staff were very friendly, and they got the radiator working promptly when I mentioned it. Still, room 16 didn’t feel like a Deluxe room. It was very cold when we arrived because the radiator wasn’t working. The room was dark and dingy, with torn curtain linings. There were teabags left out of their packets, and dirty drink rings on the desk. I was very disappointed with the stay.
