Ac Marriott Birmingham NEC and Airport

I checked in late last night and was welcomed warmly by the efficient, friendly front-of-house staff, who gave clear instructions. The room was quiet and comfortable. I didn't have a toothbrush or the other essentials, but that didn't spoil a pleasant night's sleep. It's a five-minute walk to the station and then four minutes to the terminal building. I'd stay again.

Parking here is ridiculously good value, and the walk to the NEC is fully signposted and only about five minutes. Our room was lovely, with a big TV, a comfortable bed, a great shower, and heating and cooling that actually worked properly. The staff were lovely too, especially Tracey, who looked after us so well. We'll definitely be back.

For a one-night stay, it was decent. The rooms were clean and practical, and the food was simple but did the job. There was some renovation work going on, though thankfully it wasn't noisy early in the morning. Tracey, who was working around the bar and restaurant, was fantastic, kind and really helpful.

After our flight was badly delayed, we came back to the hotel looking for something to eat. Tracey and David took great care of us and went above and beyond with their service. The meals were excellent and good value too. If this is the usual standard around here, we'll definitely return.
