For Students Only Canvas The Heights in Birmingham

One of Birmingham's best student accommodation options. The rooms are roomy and affordable, and the staff are great. Anish especially is always ready to help with any problems.

The staff really go out of their way to sort out problems and make the stay comfortable. I've come down many times to ask Maher and Mitch for help with things I'm unsure about, some setbacks, and parcels too. They're amazing, and the accommodation is very nice.

Everyone here has been so friendly and quick to help. I usually don’t leave reviews, but this morning Indy from maintenance sorted out my window and was really kind and helpful. I’m having a lovely time here so far!

My daughter moved in during September 2025. Her room was clean and nicely presented, but the shared kitchen was in a terrible state. One freezer had been left open long enough to freeze solid. They switched it off and mopped up the water from the floor now and then, leaving a serious slip hazard. There was dust across the counters, inside cupboards and on chairs, broken shelves, and no silicone around the worktops. It only got a partial clean. Later, mice appeared. Traps were put down, but the holes they were getting through were never sealed. She has since changed rooms, and the admin has been poor too. Her payments weren’t moved to the new room despite assurances, and then she received a debt collection email. Today she says a new heater was installed in her room and the workmen left the door unlocked. With students starting to look for next year’s accommodation, I thought this was worth mentioning. I hope ours was just one bad experience among many good ones, but this place has never made me feel confident. If I were choosing again, I wouldn’t pick it. Have a look around before deciding to stay.
