Novotel Birmingham Centre

The room was the one area that could be improved. The bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable, but the lighting was poor, with just two generic lights and nothing suited for reading or working at the desk. A couple more sockets would have helped too. I had to take turns charging my phone, watch and work laptop overnight for the next day. These are small fixes that could make a nice stay even better. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant was lovely. I had dinner there once and really enjoyed the burger.

Everyone was kind, helpful and accommodating, and the rooms were neat and nice. Jose deserves a special thanks for helping out and for the good banter. Jaspal Singh made really good cocktails, and Chef Baskar cooked an amazing meal. Best experience I’ve had at a hotel.

The location made it easy to explore Birmingham, and the hotel had a relaxing, welcoming feel. My room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff were professional, friendly and always willing to help. There was a great choice of food, and the quality was very good. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

The rooms were clean and the view of the terminals was great for an early flight. I had a good experience at Novotel overall. One thing that looked odd when walking in was the reception staff using raised laptops without chairs. It gave the impression they weren’t being treated well, and I think it would look much better if they could sit. Glasses for drinks in the room would also be useful. Hope those changes happen.
