I wouldn't recommend them. They don't mention the £150 deposit on the property listing, and communication is terrible. It feels like they just want your money without actually letting you have a proper stay.

The hotel is in a great spot, not too far from public transport into central Birmingham. The immediate area isn't so good, though. There are presumably illicit substances being sold just across the road.

Be careful before booking. They keep a £150 charge secret until after you book, and won't refund you if you cancel. After taking your money, they ask for your ID and a photo of yourself to verify who you are. That sounds extremely dodgy to me. They then threaten not to provide the entry code unless you send the verification, even though they've already been paid. I don't believe this is legal in any way. I'm in the process of reporting them to the ombudsman service. Know what you're getting into before you book.

Really upsetting. They need a huge payment upfront.
