Novotel Birmingham Airport

The rooms could use some care and refreshing, though the staff and service have been consistently brilliant whenever we’ve stayed at Novotel. At breakfast, Harman was particularly courteous and attentive. He went out of his way to find gluten-free options for us, which made our day. Those thoughtful gestures really stick with you.

Alex and Prabin at the bar made the experience better with their professionalism and hospitality. Alex was courteous, kind and ready to help, and his knowledge of alcoholic drinks was impressive. He suggested options that suited what we liked. Thanks for the great service.

The location is hard to beat, and the atmosphere is always nice. The food isn’t the strongest point, so skip the burgers, they were a real disappointment. If you’ve got time, spend a while at the bar, especially with the after-work crowd around. Mukesh is a lovely guy and a great barkeep, and he’ll look after you.

The prawn caesar salad was lovely, and I felt safe and truly welcome from the moment I arrived as a woman travelling alone. Alex, Senvia and Kiran were all so warm and friendly. They chatted with me while taking my food order and when I was in the lounge, which helped me feel comfortable and included. Their kindness made a real difference to my stay. Thank you!
