Margaret and Gary greeted us warmly when we arrived, and the house and garden are lovely. The rooms were fresh and clean, with comfy beds. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and Bath and Bristol are only 10-15 minutes away if you want a bit more hustle and bustle. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, too. I’m playing baseball at Bristol Baseball Club, and next year I’ll suggest that my team stay here if there’s room for us all. Highly recommend it. Looking forward to breakfast in the morning.

The Hobbit Hut was quirky but homely, warm inside and so cosy among the beautiful gardens. The decor was spot on, and the friendly hosts had added lots of thoughtful touches. I went with my mum and sister for my 30th, and honestly, it’s the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. Loved every second. The Upton Inn nearby could be a good dinner option, and Bath is very close. We found the place fairly easily with a smartphone or satnav, even in the dark. I showed my children the photos, and now they’ve made me promise to take them. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you for having us!

Margaret and Mark are warm, friendly hosts, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Their beautiful home is a very special place to stay. This fabulous new B & B is in the heart of the countryside, yet so close to Bath and Bristol. Couldn’t be better. I’d thoroughly recommend it.

I had no idea where my girlfriend was taking me for my birthday surprise, then we arrived and I was blown away. The South Gloucestershire hills and countryside are stunning, with an incredible view. Bristol or Bath is about a 20 minute drive, but it still feels like another world. The property was beautiful and magical, and the gardens around the main building were amazing. Our accommodation was incredible too: I spent the night in the Hobbit Hole, one of the best experiences of my life. In the morning, a lovely breakfast hamper was waiting on the doorstep, so we could enjoy breakfast in that beautiful setting. The owners are a lovely, caring couple, and they made my birthday gift even more special.

The accommodation was so cosy and comfortable, and the owner was attentive. They offered to bring out a breakfast basket in the morning if we wanted one, which was a lovely touch. A really lovely experience.
