A very comfortable, huge bed and a tastefully decorated room with all the facilities you could need made for a wonderful night’s sleep. Dinner was a fantastic two-course meal in a lovely restaurant, and the full English breakfast the next morning was delicious too. All the food was really well presented. I’d highly recommend staying at the Avenue.

The rooms were very comfortable, though quite dusty, and the shower head needed attention. Check-in was slow, but the restaurant looked busy, so that was understandable. The location was exactly where I needed to be. All in all, a lovely stay, and I’d stay again and recommend it.

Nice hotel and pleasant rooms, although the bathrooms look a little old. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast, which was a modest £12.99.

Only stayed for one night, but the hotel seemed clean and good. The room had everything needed, including a kettle. The shower had good pressure, the bed was comfortable, and the continental breakfast suited a midweek stay.
