Premier Inn Epsom Central

I want to thank the lovely receptionist who was on duty around 1pm on 29/03/26. My car had broken down outside, and after waiting in the cold for two hours, help finally arrived. I desperately needed the bathroom, and she let me use it and showed such genuine empathy. I used to manage a hotel and would have loved to have someone with her natural customer service skills on my team. I didn't get her name, but I hope my thanks reach her and her area manager. She deserves recognition for her kindness.

The staff were very friendly, and the chef went above and beyond with my child's allergies. Our room was clean, spacious, and looked recently updated, though the toilet blocked easily before being fixed quickly. The restaurant was absolutely dire: a strange atmosphere, lots of random empty space like a function room, sticky floors, peeling paint, dust everywhere, and far too dark with all the curtains. The food wasn't great either. The bacon was precooked, hard, and chewy, the mushroom rubbery, the eggs overcooked, and the sausages were okay. There were no spare plates, and everything came in odd pasta-style bowls that made cutting food difficult. I wouldn't return. The other Epsom premier hotel is much nicer.

The staff were friendly and the building's age didn't get in the way of a good stay. It's a nice, clean place and easy to reach, though parking is limited.

We’re staying here for a few nights while work is done on our house, and it’s really close to Epsom. Our room is clean, breakfast was nice, and the staff have been helpful and friendly.
