Christina made such a difference when I was feeling anxious about being out alone in London for the first time. I’d stayed inside by the bar, and talking with her helped me relax a lot. She’s an asset to the hotel. It would be lovely to run into her again one day.

The room was basic, but it had everything we needed and we both slept really well. We were here for oasis at Wembley, and this place worked perfectly. The transport links across London are amazing, and the parking is secure and reasonably priced. The welcome was genuinely helpful, better than anywhere I’ve stayed, including lots of places calling themselves luxurious. I can’t believe the bad reviews. We’d 100% stay again.

The location is the big draw, right in a lively area with lots of restaurants and shops close by. The Windmill Hotel is very basic, so don’t come expecting luxury. It’s a great option if all you need is somewhere to sleep in the middle of the action.

We had a cozy, quiet room with twin beds, plus a generous breakfast buffet, and the price was great. The manager, Christine, was genuinely friendly and helpful. We loved our stay, and I’ll definitely come back. How does this hotel get bad reviews?!

The hosts were lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a bit small, but still clean and practical. It’s an ideal spot for a short stay, just a five minute walk from the tube station. I’d definitely stay again.
