Willows, Blackburn by Marston's Inn

There's a definite sense that extra effort is going into everything at the Willows. This was our latest stay and probably the best so far, though we've never been unhappy before. Lovely staff, good food and a comfortable two-night stay. A staff member mentioned there'd been a change of management, which might explain the improvement. We've always been happy here and would highly recommend it.

We were told there'd be a delay because they were busy, but the staff were lovely. Our room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for one night. We ate at the Willows and the food was amazing. We ordered through the app and used a discount code for being guests. Best pizza I've had in a long time.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times and it's always been a pleasant experience. The staff are polite, helpful and incredibly accommodating, and they really make you feel at ease. The caretakers are lovely and easy to approach if you need anything. It's a safe, well-run place with clean, comfortable rooms, decent food and a welcoming atmosphere. I'd happily return.

We'd just moved into new offices across the road, but we won't be back, which is a shame. It was quiet, yet the service felt pretty poor, with little care or attention. The food was very basic for the price, and three sandwiches took 35 minutes to arrive. They weren't even that good. With the place so quiet, we expected a much better experience. No idea what was going on in the kitchen.
