The hotel is close to the beach and lots of Blackpool attractions, and I’d gladly stay there again. When we visited with family last November, the welcome was so warm. Staff were amazing, respectful, and let us stay in the bar as late as we wanted. The two children played board games with them, which was lovely. Breakfast was amazing, and the bedrooms were very clean. They also left gifts in each of our rooms, such a kind touch.

Breakfast was beautifully cooked and the service was friendly. I needed a last-minute overnight stay and couldn’t fault the place. The room was pleasant and the beds were comfortable. If I’m in Blackpool again, I’ll come here first.

Mary, the owner, was so welcoming that it felt like we’d known each other for years. Our room suited us well, with loads of storage. Both breakfast and evening meals were excellent. I’ll stay at the Albion Hotel on future trips to Blackpool, and anyone looking for a hotel should check it out first.

This was my second visit to the Albion, and my friends and I felt like VIPs. The hosts were lovely, the location’s excellent, and there’s a nice little bar. I’d happily recommend it for a Blackpool stay. My one suggestion is to put hash browns on the breakfast menu. Five stars.

We had a brilliant weekend catching up with old university friends at the Albion. The little bar made it easy to chat with other guests, and there was karaoke and a big TV to keep the kids amused. Ste knew the local places and services well, and gave us discount vouchers for the tower that saved us a fortune. He also steered us to a great Chinese restaurant, while warning us that some Blackpool restaurants aren’t up to scratch. Ste and Mary were very welcoming and showed us to our family room. With two kids, it was great value, clean and basic, with free Wi-Fi, just what we wanted. The hotel has a lovely facade, more like something in a rural tourist spot such as Wales, and a place to sit outside and vape or smoke when the sun’s out. Breakfast was a buffet with the usual cereal, tea, coffee and full English items. Mary promptly brought out fresh toast even though she was busy. We had good company, drinks, a good night’s sleep and breakfast to round things off. Our previous Blackpool hotel had smelled of stale cigarette smoke, so the Albion was a welcome change.
