Alderley hotel

Basic, but a decent budget hotel. The owner was very nice, and the tram stop is right across the road, which is handy.

We were first-time guests, staying with friends who come here regularly, and we’ll definitely be back. The hospitality was fantastic and the owner’s a great guy. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from, and the bar had a good range of beers and spirits. It’s also well placed for the tram stops and Pleasure Beach.

The breakfast was gorgeous and freshly made, and the staff were really friendly. It’s a great-value bed and breakfast, close to Pleasure Beach, with free parking outside. The room was very quiet, clean and had good facilities. It was on the second floor with no disabled access, which wasn’t an issue for us but could be for other guests. You can cross the road to the beach, which the kids loved. We’ll stay again if we visit Pleasure Beach.

The location was perfect for where we needed to go. We stayed one night in a double room facing the sea. Kaz made us feel welcome after checking we’d parked the car at the rear. The bed was very comfortable, though a little low for my husband. The shower would have been great if the shower head could be moved. Breakfast was enormous and cooked to order, but my beans were cooler than the rest of the food. I left them, and noticed I wasn’t the only one.
