Art Break Hotel

We stayed overnight to see an art exhibition featuring local artists mixed with other art. Must see. It was a really great night with two bands, and the host and bar staff were excellent. Our room was bright, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with plenty to choose from.

We spent two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed them. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the rooms were nice and clean. The complimentary breakfast was really good too. I’d definitely recommend it.

BEWARE. We made a provisional booking and were charged a £20 booking fee. Six days before we were due to arrive, we had to cancel for reasons beyond our control. Andy the manager then used our bank card details to try to take the full £250 room cost, even though we argued there were no cancellation terms on the website or in the email we received. We called the bank to report that money was being taken without our consent. While we were still on the phone, they tried to take more money. The bank has now contacted its fraud department about these petty thieves. BEWARE! I wouldn’t even give them one star, but the policy requires it.

We came for an art launch and stayed the night. The art was fantastic and everywhere, and the band and singers were great. The hosts and bar staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our room was bright, clean and comfortable, and breakfast was gorgeous.
