Lesley and her family are genuinely decent people who work hard to keep the hotel running well. They’re happy to help with parking advice, local events or things to do, and nothing seems too much trouble. Just don’t get on Lesley’s wrong side, her quick banter and death stare over her glasses could make a grown man cry 😂. We stayed over the Jubilee weekend and will definitely be back. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious enough to swing a cat, if that’s your thing. The bed was a little hard, but made up well and comfortable enough. Breakfast was delicious and well worth the price. I’ve paid at least twice as much elsewhere for a lot less quality, including Coral Island. 10/10, keep up the good work. All the best, guys! X

After a stressful experience at another hotel that was seriously unsuitable, we called in on Good Friday and luckily got a room. It was just right for us, very clean and nicely decorated. Bob and Lesley made us feel welcome and suggested places for a night out and restaurants to try. Breakfast in the dining room was lovely, with decoration like you’d expect in a four- or five-star hotel abroad. The bar had a good selection at reasonable prices too. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

The price was reasonable and everything was nice and clean. The rooms are fairly small, as you’d expect in this kind of seaside hotel, but weekends can be busy without it getting noisy inside the room. There are several steps up to the front door, so it’s not easy to access if you’re disabled.
