The apartment was freezing, and the heaters we were given sparked, so they didn’t feel safe. The lamp above the bunk beds was hanging off the wall and looked like it could seriously hurt a child. There were stains all over the sofa, including white ones, and mould or something similar on the walls. The decor was coming away too. When we arrived, we were told we needed to pay a £100 security deposit, which hadn’t been mentioned when I booked through Revolut. We won’t be staying here again.

Our top-floor room had everything we needed, and it was clean and comfortable. The location was great for the shops, bars and Pleasure Beach. It felt like better value than staying in a hotel, so I’d happily recommend the place.

The location was ideal, with Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterpark right on the doorstep. We had a great time at the waterpark. Curtis made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and was always there if we needed anything. The rooms suited our short stay, and Bridle lodge apartments felt like a home away from home. It was worth the price, and I’d definitely book again next year. Thanks to Curtis, Nichole and Sonia.

The apartment was clean and had all the equipment we needed. Pleasure Beach and the Water Park are nearby, just a five-minute walk away.

The place needs renovating. Wallpaper was coming loose, some carpet was loose or missing, and a light above the bunk bed hung down with wires exposed. The toilets sometimes wouldn’t flush, which wasn’t great with two kids, and the rooms were freezing. The only heaters were electric ones that got dangerously hot to touch straight away, also a worry with children running around. Outside, litter was left around the area even though there were bins at the ends of the streets, and the paths were covered in dog poo.
