If you have mobility problems like we do, the ground-floor rooms and mobility scooters they rent were a godsend for getting around and seeing the sights. Andrea & Pete were a lot of fun and looked after us brilliantly. Nothing was too much trouble. The place was spotlessly clean, breakfast was to die for, and the bar closes when it is time for bed. What's not to like? Highly recommended, and we'll be back.

They even carried our bags, helped pack the van, and sent us off with coffee and bottled water for the drive home. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The rooms were clean, with nicely refurbished bathrooms and showers, and nothing was a bother. The food was great too. Five stars all the way, thanks again! Chris and Claire.

After our three-hour drive through horrendous weather, Andrea's tea tray was a welcome sight. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, with beautiful bathrooms, and Andrea's breakfasts are tasty. Pete sorts out toast and coffee, and they make a great team. Everything is within a steady walk of the town centre. We also enjoyed the licensed bar, where you can sit in "Pete's front room" and watch the massive TV while Pete gets you a drink, with a few laughs along the way. We'd stayed the year before for the Christmas By the Sea market, and our December 2024 visit with three of us didn't disappoint. Pete and Andrea make you feel at home and are warm and welcoming any time of year. I'd recommend this lovely little B+B to anyone.

Even though I was in town for work, the area was perfect for sightseeing, and both hosts helped me figure out the public transport and an easy walking route there and back. I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time. The room was cosy, the bed amazingly comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. Everything about the stay felt perfect. I can't speak highly enough of it and would love to come back.xxx
