I stayed at Chilton from 28 March to 30 June 2025 while preparing for PLAB 2 and taking coaching at aspire. The owners, Dee & Pam, were very polite and helped at every step, almost like parents back home. Before my exam they gave me food for a few days so I could focus on studying. They helped me adjust the wifi for lovaans classes, and Dee & Pam have also helped some students with attachments. The hotel is quiet, with little to no noise, and the rooms are spacious and tidy. There's a study area and a mannequin room for PLAB 2 students, plus a well-maintained kitchen that's much cleaner than aspire accommodation. It's near Aspire academy and shops like home bargains and Lidl, two minutes' walk from Aspire and home bargains and ten minutes from Lidl. Compared with academy accommodation, you can save around 5-10 pounds a night. I saved about 450 pounds over my three-month stay. I felt very lonely at first, but Dee would always ask "you okay" when he saw me, and Pam cooked me many delicious Punjabi dishes. They made it feel like home. I passed on my first attempt, thanks to my parents, study partners and the owners at Chilton. For anyone coming to Blackpool to prepare for PLAB 2, I highly recommend Chilton Hotel. I don't think you'll find a better place to stay for it.

I spent about eight weeks at Chilton hotel while preparing for PLAB2, and it felt like a second home. Pam and D were so sweet and helpful. The room was great, and there was a well-equipped kitchen, a nice reading room and a mannequin room with all types of mannequins for practice. It's only a two-minute walk from the aspire academy. I loved the place and the people, and highly recommend it.

Basic, but it had everything I needed and was clean. The fantastic price and central location made it a great stay. There was no parking, though there are plenty of free nearby back streets. I'd use it again, 100%.

Pam and D were especially lovely and helpful, and the whole family running the hotel was super nice. The mannequin room was useful for practice. Chilton Hotel is close to the academy, which made things really convenient. I loved staying there and highly recommend it.

I spent about six weeks at The Chilton and had a really good experience. My room had a beautiful beach view, and the shore was just a short walk away. The room was cozy, and there were working kitchen facilities and study rooms. The hosts, Pam and D, were warm, helpful and always available when we needed assistance. It's also conveniently close to the Aspire Academy I attended. I'd highly recommend it to PLAB 2 aspirants.
