The beds were comfortable and the place seemed clean, and breakfast was average. But the hotel was very old fashioned and dated, and overpriced for such a tired place. I’m glad it was only one night, because I definitely won’t stay again. We were welcomed by a very nice lady dressed in a throwback to the 1960s, which turned out to suit the hotel too. This was over the weekend of 22/9/17.

A lovely couple run this dog-friendly place. The bed was comfy, breakfast was nice and the facilities were good. It’s close to the seafront and tram stops, and we’ll be back soon.

The staff were friendly and we had no issues with them, but the place feels like stepping back in time and needs a full revamp. The showers didn’t work properly, and the rooms were small and not very comfortable.

Julie and Jim always make you feel welcome when I stay here. The beds are lovely and comfy, and breakfast’s lovely too. See you both soon, love Louise and Gavin x

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It's about as poor as a place can get, just awful.
