We booked for a week but lasted just 12 hours, the longest 12 hours of my life. The basic facilities were so inadequate that I don't know how the place can advertise on a reputable booking site. Luckily, we could afford another hotel. This place is one step up from a homeless hostel, in fact I've no words to describe this hovel. Please avoid and don't waste your hard-earned money here!

We had a clean room and beds, a working TV and WiFi, towels, a kettle, and tea and coffee in the room. The heating was on and it was lovely and warm. For the price we paid, I honestly can't fault anything, and we'll stay again. I don't know why this hotel gets bad reviews. We stayed one night, 31/10/25, and the hosts seemed really nice at check-in. They asked where we'd travelled from and invited the kids to a Halloween party. Thanks everyone for a pleasant stay.

The place felt unsettling from the moment we arrived. Our room was dirty and so cramped we could barely move around. There was nowhere to plug anything in, and the bathroom was shared with the whole place and filthy. The door wouldn't lock and the seat was broken. The service was unsatisfactory. One star is generous. We left straight away without staying the night, and wouldn't recommend it.

The location was very good, but the hotel felt rough and needs a lot of work to feel fresh and welcoming. The carpets and general atmosphere were rough too. The woman running it seemed rather unpredictable and shouldn't be in hospitality. Gaz seemed more capable and decent, and helped me with extra towels and tea bags. I wouldn't stay again.

Gaz was kind and did all he could for us, but we wouldn't come back. Our room had bunk beds even though we'd booked a double with a private bathroom, and the sink was in the bedroom. It was basic, which is fair for the price, but the TV had no remote and was very difficult to operate with the buttons on top. We also felt unable to relax because the place reminded us of a homeless hostel. The female manager had a poor attitude and didn't seem professional. The B&B wasn't accessible for disabled guests, despite what Booking.com said. We were told we could watch football in the bar, but couldn't find anyone when it was time. We don't recommend it.
