The noise carried on until midnight, with music and singing, and cigarette smells reached the hall and bedrooms. The sheets smelled of smoke and urine, and the rooms were small and dirty. There were only curtains instead of bathroom doors, no air vents, and the place didn’t feel child-friendly. Twice, I locked my room before bed and woke to find it unlocked. I don’t know whether anyone had entered, but I felt unsafe, so my family and I left early, a day before checkout. I wouldn’t return or recommend it. Pay more for somewhere that feels safe and clean. Totally disgusting 🤮🤢

Our last visit a few months ago was decent, so we came back, but this stay was unpleasant. We’d hoped to sleep in, then got woken at 7:30 AM by people smoking in the building. The bathroom was disgusting: someone else’s loofah was left there, the shower mat was filthy, and the only towel smelled of urine. There was also wee in the toilet. Wouldn’t recommend.

We booked two nights, February 17 to 19, 2026, but took one look at the room and found another guest house. It was tiny, the door couldn’t open fully, and the toilet had a curtain instead of a door. The beds were filthy, and the carpet by the sink and toilet was burnt and gave way underfoot. I’m going to try to get a refund. Don’t waste your money.

It was one of the cheapest hotels around when we stayed, yet it was warm and had everything we needed. There was even tea and coffee in the room, which is good at that price. The staff were fantastic. I’d definitely recommend it!

My boyfriend and I had a really enjoyable three-night stay. The room was a good size for the two of us, and we’d gladly recommend the place and stay again.
