Cleveland Hotel

We called it a night after just one stay in the 'reality bites suite', the double room with the soul-crushing red duvet of doom. I understand the idea behind this hotel, but that doesn't make it a good one. Compared with other hotels, it needs something as basic as a colourful, inviting duvet. You're running a hotel, so don't make it look like a halfway house. I'm sure the staff are nice enough.

Wilma and Billy decorated our room for my friend's 30th, and I can't thank them enough. They gave us a lovely warm welcome. We got lost coming from the train station, but Billy explained exactly where to go without any hassle. We all enjoyed the stay, close to everything we needed: nightlife, shops, buses and trains. Wilma's hot cooked breakfast was amazing, and it's true the bar stays open until after 4. They're a very friendly couple. We'll definitely return. Thanks again from the Glasgow girls xx

I'm not sure how many stars to give, since I haven't even been invited over for a day to catch up. I know I'm not on the Christmas or birthday list, and haven't even had a cheap card. Gran &Pappas were nice, and so were walter&Irene. I've been told I need answers about my past, and there are things I'd love to ask. My psychologist says they need to be talked about before I can let them go. Basically, this is a rate and review of my life before I was seven. I hope to hear back, though I can't see you both lowering your standards for once to help me get into a better frame of mind, instead of carrying around baggage I should have talked through and dealt with years ago.

A friendly adults-only hotel with a fabulous team and a great atmosphere. The buffet breakfast lets you have as much or as little as you like. Definitely worth a visit 😊
