Sefton Hotel

We had a great little two-day break this week. Our room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was excellent. The Sefton feels warm and welcoming, and Andy was friendly, helpful, and full of useful local knowledge. It’s in a peaceful spot on the North Shore, close to the seafront, with on-street parking. We’ll definitely book again, thanks!

Just a few metres from the beach, this characterful little B&B is tucked into a quieter part of Blackpool. The property has a stylish feel, with plenty of spots to sit with tea or coffee and read. My room had just been refurbished and had everything I needed. Mike was attentive, and breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. We couldn’t fault the stay.

We had a sea view from our room, which was a real treat. There was also a little seating area and a large-screen TV, and the bed was very comfortable. The owner was friendly and let us check in early. The hotel is almost opposite the sea, near North Shore and the Pier, with regular trams and buses close by.

We stayed from 5th to 8th May, just after Andy had taken over as owner the month before. The place was spotless and quiet, and the beds were really comfortable. Andy even looked up the tram fares for us without being asked, which was a thoughtful touch. It’s beyond the North Pier, away from Blackpool’s busier parts, but the tram and bus stops are only a few minutes’ walk away, making it easy to get into the centre. I’d highly recommend it if you want somewhere quiet.
