Our stay was awful. We booked three double rooms but were given only two, so we all had to share. The rooms were filthy, with a damp patch in a corner, and some windows had no curtains while others were barely covered. Drug users staying there made us feel unsafe, and even the hotel doors didn't lock. There was no reception and nobody answered when we arrived, so we had to drive down a very narrow driveway to park. A painter working at the hotel ended up showing us to rooms that simply had keys left in the doors. The kettle didn't work, there was no tea or coffee, and the plug sockets were hanging loose so we couldn't use them. The bar was full of rubbish, with so much waste you couldn't see the floor. The online pictures don't match the place. If work is going on, fine, but the hotel should be closed. The owner had switched his phone off and couldn't be reached. I usually don't care much where I stay, but this was disgusting.

We'd planned one night in Blackpool, a rare getaway for us in the past two years, and the photos made this place look clean and pleasant. Don't believe them. The only accurate thing was the 1970s carpet. We were put in room 7, a box room where the mattress didn't fit the frame properly. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. There was used chewing gum on the reading light, peeling paint on the shelf, and seagull poo on top of the wardrobe and the "flat screen" TV, even though it was across the room. There was more poo on the radiator and drawers. We had no tea or coffee cups and only one plug socket for charging everything. The toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. The sink tap was fitted backwards and burned my mouth while I brushed my teeth. The shower went piping hot and burned my back. The place smelled rotten and damp, and there were no staff or managers anywhere. Absolutely awful, I've never seen anything like it. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

We paid £275.50 for two rooms for two nights, and the place was an absolute dump. I wouldn't recommend it or stay at any of the OYO hotels again. Save your money and stay clear. From outside, the hotel looked derelict, the windows were filthy, and one open window was hanging off. There was nobody to check us in, just codes and a key box. In the first room, paint had splashed over the bedside lampshades, the furniture was covered in stains and marks, and it was so dirty I wasn't sure it had been cleaned at all. The carpet pattern looked either worn away or eaten away, we couldn't decide. The shower only ran cold. We had two rooms, but the second room's key wasn't in its box. After several phone calls and speaking to someone inside the building, we found out the previous guests had taken it. We waited 3-4 hours for it to be sorted, and the second room wasn't much better than the first.

At £20, this was the best money I've spent in a long time. The room was simple but clean and comfortable, with good facilities, free quality toiletries and tea and coffee in the room. The location was good, though getting into the car park was a mission. Thanks 😁

The place felt bad as soon as we walked in. The outside window was falling apart, and there were no staff around at all, so we had to get the key using a code. Inside, the room was disgusting and smelled bad. A cupboard fell onto my partner when we walked in, the bedding didn't fit the bed properly, and there was horrendous dirt everywhere. We ended up leaving and booking another hotel. I won't stay here again. Don't waste your money on this rubbish.
